Our fee for officiating a marriage in Windsor/Essex County area is $300.00, the same fee charged by Windsor City Hall for their marriages on site.
When you choose us for your marrigae officiant you will receive the following: two meetings with the officiant; a personally designed marriage celebration script - created with you; our preparation, completion and registration of the legal paperwork with the Office of the Registrar General. There is no reimbursement required for transportation/mileage costs for marriages in the county - except for marriages on Pelee Island.
The fee you remit to us is based on cost recovery - it offsets the costs we incur for office supplies, advertising, web services, transportation costs, apparel, dry cleaning, and other associated expenses - all the things that are necessary for us to officiate marriage celebrations. Additionally, we donate a portion of the offering from every marriage celebration that we officiate to a registered Canadian charity of our choice.

For smaller marriage celebrations - gatherings of 12 persons or less - you might consider Joe and Mario's home (and backyard with gazebo) as a possible venue for marriage. They are happy to welcome couples and their family and friends into their home. Talk to us about this option. Also, for those couples seeking a religious exprsssion for their marriage, inquire with us about the beautiful small chapel at Mike and Anh's University Place residence.
Once a couple confirms that we are their officiant for their marriage celebration, they are marked into our calendar and guaranteed that date and time. No contract is required; our mutual email communication is sufficient to confirm our commitment.
The fee may be paid at our second 'planning' meeting, just a short time prior to the marriage celebration. This eliminates one less thing for couples to be concerned about on their wedding day.
